We are still seeking nominees to serve as Co-Presidents of our PTA next year.
Note that we must have Co-Presidents voted in by our final PTA meeting in June, or we will be out of compliance and risk losing our status as a non-profit.
Curious what’s involved? Here is a list of what we take care of:
- Preparing PTA agendas and running meetings (once a month) — if you hate running meetings and speaking in public, consider delegating this to a trusted Board member
- Ensuring PTA committees and events have a chair, and checking in to provide support
- Managing our organization as a non-profit (all paperwork is set like clockwork, and our treasurer helps with everything)
- Connecting with and responding to staff, parents, and others (by email and in person)
- Monthly 1-hour meetings with Ms. Riley (super fun – worth the job in itself!)
