Family Culture Week is here!
From May 17 -21, join us for daily activities such as read alouds from familiar faces or visit the PopUp Storywalk that will be installed on campus.
- Monday: Favorite Family Tradition (read by Ms. George-Shapiro)
- Tuesday: Favorite Meal (read by Ms. Sandusky)
- Wednesday: Special Family Holiday (read by Ms. Hoeth)
- Thursday: Favorite Outfit or Outfit that Represents Your Culture (read by Mr. Brush)
- Friday: All About Me (read by Mr. Brush)
- All Week: Visit the PopUp StoryWalk on campus. Remote learners can come on campus from 4pm – sundown to experience the book, “Drawn Together” by Mihn Le. Start behind the office building and follow the signs that wrap around the perimeter of campus.
- All Week: Kenmore Heritage Society is offering a historical glimpse into the use of the red cedar tree by the people of Cascadia with a “Cedar Tree of Life” video.
- All Week: Indian traditional dance performance by local troupe “Dancing Silhouette.”
You can use the PTA supplied tri-fold poster board for any or all of these themed days. If you used it for the STEAM fair, simply use the back! Have fun and we are excited to learn more about you with each day’s Flipgrid.
