Kenmore is again participating in the Art of Discovery program put on through the Junior League of Seattle in cooperation with the Bellevue Art Museum. The art arrived to the library last week, and this year, we get to keep and use the art through January 11, 2019! This program is sponsored by the PTA. You can read more about the program here:

The Art of Discovery program is a chance for students to have interaction with some amazing pieces of original art.
Since we have an extended time with the art this year, there will be more time for using the art in the classrooms as inspiration for art projects. Junior League will be holding a workshop at Kenmore in the library on Wednesday, October 31, from 2:30-4:00 pm. Possible art projects will be introduced and additional information on the pieces will be provided. We are hoping some parent volunteers would like to help lead art projects in the classrooms.
