There will be no school on Monday, May 30 in honor of Memorial Day. After that there are only 14 more school days until summer break!! There are many fun KEPTA and Kenmore Elementary hosted events and activities planned for the last few days of school.
- June 2nd & 3rd: KEPTA Summer Book Event
- June 7th: final PTA meeting where we will be celebrating our successful year and awarding our annual Golden Acorn award.
- June 9th: 5th Grade Safety Patrol Field Trip
- June 10th: All School Picnic & Field Day
- June 13th: 5th Grade Party at Big Finn Hill Park
- June 14th: Fun Run
- June 16th: 5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony
With this many activities we will be looking for a number of volunteers. Watch for more information to be sent home on June 1st. In the mean time, please make sure that you have submitted the volunteer application through the district. On campus volunteers need to complete the level one application while field trip volunteers (including the 5th grade party) need to complete the level two application.
